The Beast of BittersI used one Muntons traditonal bitter kit 1.8kg + one morgans stockmans draught kit 1.7kg + one morgans unhopped extra pale liquid brewing malt 1.5kg + 500g of Dextrose made upto 36 Litres. Cellar for 4 months. This sounds like a big volume but it won't last long. Fermented at 24oC using live yeast from coopers sparkling ale. Just keeps getting better with time. |

TBMade brew with 1KG of DDM, 500gms Dex, Fuggles Finishing Hops and safale s-04 yeast. Good beer to have it short time for maturing. Though used too much dextrose and carbonation drops so everytime I open it it just froths up, but good bitter taste just like it says on the can! |

Muntons Traditional BitterBrewed this with 1.5Kg pale LME, to 21L, and S-04 yeast (rehydrated), at 20-22 degrees for 8 days. FG ended up at 1012. Very nice, full and rich malt flavour and a lovely long bitterness to help balance the malt. This is what english bitters are all about I reckon, perfect for a cool evening, with some crisps while watching the footy. |

Muntons Traditional BitterMade with 1.5Kg LME, 250g crystal steeped in 2 litres for 1/2 an hour. Sen-bloody-sational Got a rating of 8.5 during a tasting night with a couple of non HB drinking mates. Will do again without doubt. |
